Arnel Pineda is a Filipino singer and songwriter who was a star in the Philippines during the 1890s and internationally in 2007 when he was the then-new lead singer of the American rock group Journey. Arnel was aware of the situation and made the decision to drop out of school in order to lessen the burden of his father. Arnel was a solitary man for nearly two decades in the streets sleeping wherever he could. He collected glass bottles, newspapers and scrap metals, and traded them to recyclers. Arnel also did odd jobs like cleaning scrap metal , and docked ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. The couple got married in the year 2001. They have two children together A daughter (Theachenelle Pineda) and a son (Cherub). Arnel is also blessed with Matthew and Angelo Two of his older sons.
