Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was born to Janice (Cooke), an accountant and William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke Kendrick is her older brother and was also an actor. She is from English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her role in the show "Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever) and the Drama Desk Award, and an award called a Fany Award (best actress featured in the musical). Her amazing performance won her the Drama League and Theatre World Award.She was the lead actress in Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live" in Great Performances: My Favorite Broadway The Leading Ladies (1999) (TV). In 2010 she was nominated for her role as Natalie Keener in the sequel and third episodes of the series. She graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine in 2003.
