Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going into the big
screen to play comedy films like 'Elf "Anchorman," as well as
Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began
his comedy career as an actor in the Los Angeles-based improv group known as
the Groundlings. After his seven-year stint as a Saturday Night Life Cast
Member, Ferrell was one of the most renowned comedians in the business through
off-color successes such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also a co-founder of the streaming video site
Funny or Die and enjoyed great success in voice acting in animated films like
Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was born on July 16 1967, in Irvine,
California. The youngest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and
teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admission--not the class clown as
when he was a student at University High School. Ferrell who was quiet and
reserved and reserved, decided to leave his mark on the field where he set
records for the number of field goals made. Ferrell did not exhibit the
outlandish, humorous behavior that would define his career, even in his
suburban home. His mother, who was interviewed by Esquire she said that her son
was very gentle and calm. "You aren't you old enough to remember those
Matchbox cars?" Will would line up his Matchbox cars on his own and be
extremely happy. The question would be "Do you wish to visit Disneyland
this morning?" or "You want your cars lined up?" That would be a
challenging conversation for him to contemplate. Ferrell was not a perfect
straight man but that's not to say he wasn't. When he made the daily
announcements via the PA system, a glimpse of his comical skills was revealed
each morning at high-school. After graduating in 1986, Ferrell went to the
University of Southern California at Los Angeles, where he joined the Delta Tau
fraternity and pursued the degree of sports journalist.
